As CEO of the Contentment Foundation, I work with educators and researchers to bring scientifically evidence-based wellbeing practices into schools worldwide. My journey began in the world of luxury goods, but gradually shifted toward a deeper pursuit: understanding how lived experience shapes meaning, a path shaped by my interests in engineering, phenomenology, and contemplative education.
I also support several kindred efforts: the EtonHouse Community Fund, where we help vulnerable children uncover their unique gifts; the Center for Contemplative Research, which bridges long-term retreat practice with scientific inquiry; and Dharma Gates, an initiative creating access to deep meditation practice for young adults.
We’re living in a time of deep uncertainty, fueled by confusion, endless grasping, and rising polarization. Many are suffering, as our systems echo the very unrest they seek to solve. Alongside that we have the work of neuroscientists, philosophers and contemplatives that serve those willing to turn inward not to transcend the world, but to return to it with greater wisdom and compassion. I welcome meeting those called to the quiet labor of planting seeds and letting go. If something here resonates, I’d be grateful to connect - just reach out!
