🌱 1. High-Quality Student "Environmental Literacy Model"

• Student-Centered Pedagogical Cycle: Implemented an innovative, research-based learning method where international student teams conducted pre-mobility research, delivered academic presentations in English, executed field data collection using observation worksheets, produced multimedia content, and led daily reflection sessions.

• Shift to Eco-Habits: Mobility surveys and direct observation confirmed significant increases in students' environmental responsibility, critical thinking, problem-solving, and active citizenship.

📚 2. Teacher Professional Development & Methodologies

• Experiential & Interdisciplinary Teaching: Educators gained practical methodologies to integrate environmental literacy, climate change, and biodiversity across regular subjects rather than treating them as isolated topics.

• Hands-On Experiential Learning: Teachers directly experienced permaculture design, soil health, water management, and outdoor education during the launching workshop at Belentepe Permaculture Farm.

📖 3. "Permaculture for Educators" E-Book (Open Educational Resource)

• Collaborative Educator Guide: Co-developed by all partner organisations as a free, open-access e-book detailing David Holmgren's 12 permaculture principles, environmental literacy frameworks, and key learnings from the Belentepe Farm mobility. 

• Replicable School Design: Features practical instructions for mapping school zones, building gardens, rainwater harvesting, seed saving, soil health practices, and running climate workshops like Climate Fresk. 

🎬 4. Youth Digital Storytelling: 4 Student Documentaries

Following specialized training in video composition, scripting, and editing led by Hilal Doğu Academy, international student teams produced four documentaries during the final mobility in Bursa.

🏫 5. Permanent Permaculture Gardens & Outdoor Classrooms

• Concrete-to-Green Living Labs: Transformed physical school grounds—such as the agroecological site at IES Hiponova and the permanent Permaculture Garden at Salih Şeremet Secondary School—into long-term outdoor learning environments.

• Zero-Waste Practices: Established closed-loop composting systems fed by school cafeteria waste, community cardboard, and organic matter.

🤝 6. Strong Regional Stakeholder Collaboration

• Public & Academic Synergies: Built active working relationships with regional authorities and academic institutions, including Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Uludağ University (Faculty of Agriculture), and the Uludağ National Park Directorate.

• Community & Family Engagement: Involve local communities and host families in dissemination events, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns, demonstrating the role of schools as drivers of local sustainability.
