We're thrilled to announce the Summer Undergraduate Student Training Opportunities within the Guam-Riverside Symbiosis (GRS) Program. This pioneering program, funded by the NSF, studies coral-algal symbiosis through unicellular ciliate model systems from Guam and offers a remarkable opportunity for University of Guam undergraduates. In this 4-year project, the GRS program selects 1-2 undergraduate students from the University of Guam to engage in coral-algal symbiosis research at UCR each summer. It's a collaborative effort between Dr. Tingting Xiang and Dr. Robert Jinkerson at UCR, with help from Dr. Christopher Lobban at UOG, designed to provide a transformative experience during the summer. Join us for an exciting journey into the world of marine symbiosis research!
