My name is Taylor Rigsbee, I am a current Junior at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio; I am currently working towards my B.F.A in Acting with a minor in Music. I have been a Girl Scout for over ten years in the historic city of Savannah, Georgia, where I also worked for Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia council as a Program Aide and a tour guide at The Girl Scout First Headquarters. I was gifted a lifetime membership to the organization by my supervisor, Jami Brantley, the Assistant Director of Program and Partnerships, as well as a Girl Scout cord for my graduation by the council. Performing Arts has been my passion since I was seven years old. I was able to attend a visual and performing arts middle and high school, graduating from Garrison School of the Visual and Performing Arts and the Savannah Arts Academy. I was involved in the Savannah Children's Theatre for 10 years in the areas of theatre, dance, aerial arts and youth education. I also was the first teen company member of the Savannah Stage Company (a professional, non-profit theatre company). I would not be who I am without all the performing arts has given me. My hope with this project is that I can share my passion with others, inspire them to do what they love, and educate them about all the performing arts has to offer.Â
