Year 0 - Evigheden began - On Earth, Gods and Goddesses are all around but hidden from human eyes. The Deities have very strict rules they must follow with their magic and if they disobey these rules they will be considered outcasts and lose their rights on Earth, the rules are strict for the safety of others. If dozens of Deities are fooling around with their magic someone is bound to get hurt. Or worse.
One day all the outcast Gods and Goddesses decided to band together and create a world of their own, where their magic could flow through the world freely with no limits. They created their world in an empty reality next to Earth, it took them years and years to build and shape the perfect terrain they wanted for the world. They put all of their love into every blade of grass and every grain of sand. Once their land was done, they ran into one small problem, even with all of the outcast Gods and Goddesses magic put together they were not powerful enough to give the gift of magic to the world. To give magic to the land it has to constantly be flowing into everywherthing and because the outcast Deities used all of their magic on the land they don’t have any left to spread around. They needed a Deity who still had their rights on Earth, the most powerful, and they knew exactly who to ask. The God Of Magic of course. The outcast Gods and Goddesses traveled back to Earth through the Lldfmznl portal to convince The God Of Magic to come back to their world and grant it magic. They promised him he could have his own temple hidden in The Forest Of Dreams and he could help rule over the land, but The God Of Magic was greedy and he wanted to rule over them too. The outcast Deities had no choice but to comply because without magic their world would be nothing but a dead rock floating in a forgotten reality. Once they all traveled back to their world with The God Of Magic they hosted a small ceremony in honor of giving magic to the world. The magic was threaded into a tree hidden somewhere in the world so it would be impossible to find. Their world finally had magic and they were excited to live out the rest of their days in that land. Of course everything wasn’t perfect in their land, The God Of Magic was in charge. But they would make do in their own special world. In Evigheden.
3,157 - The Rancore war began - Since the beginning of time in Evigheden. The Land Of Bones and The Land Of Illusion never got along. Bullies against troublemakers. As long as any soul can remember there had been brawls and arguments across both lands and if you got in the way of these fights you would end up six feet under. Until one day The Land of Bones had enough and they declared war against The Land Of Illusion, and they didn't object.
3,478 - The Rancore war ended - After thousands of souls had been lost during the Rancore War between The Land Of Bones and The Land Of Illusion, it finally came to a screeching halt as The Land Of Illusion fell.
The Land Of Bones celebrated for months for winning this deadly war while The Land of Illusion had under one hundred souls left alive in their entire land and no supplies, food or shelter. They had lost everything. Their land fell into a deep depression, all the souls in that land thought everything was going to end and there was no point in doing or trying anything. They all accepted that they would die off. Every day for months the souls in The land Of Illusion would sit around and wait for their time to come and the ones who couldn't wait trekked into The Forest Of Dreams, never to be seen again. There were only fortey souls left when someone realized what they needed to do. One Soul rose up and took control of her land, she chopped down trees and collected food for the dying. All it took was a young girl successfully building a small cabin on her own for people to join in on the construction. Soon enough all the souls that were left in The Land Of Illusion were helping build shelter and collecting food, and finally their depression was lifted. While The Land Of Illusion were building themselves back up The Land Of Bones had ended their partying and thought their job was done, but years later the souls there found out that The Land Of Illusion was standing once again and the land was repopulating. The Land Of Bones and The Land Of Illusion always have and always will hate each other, but maybe the Rancore war was a good thing, it showed what true teamwork can accomplish anything for the first time in Evigheden.
15,482 - The Reign Of Tricks began - One day nothing in Evigheden was as it seemed, souls would go to pick berries and fall through the bush as if it wasn’t even there, cold water would boil and steam. Nocturnal animals would come out at sunrise and sleep at sunset. No one knew why, it was a great mystery not even the Gods and Goddesses of Evigheden knew what was happening to their world. Souls all throughout Evigheden started conspiring that The Reign Of Tricks was started by a glitch in the magic system, but no one knew for sure.
29,996 - The Reign Of Tricks ended - After some time and confusion the souls of Evigheden learned how to live in The Reign Of Tricks, but of course, as soon as everyone got the hang of it the reign ended and everything went back to normal. What caused this reign to begin and end? No one knows, to this day souls still believe it was a glitch in the magic system because that’s what the Gods and Goddesses have been telling them. Even though the Deities know it was the work of something much darker.
40,984 - The Timonic fog cursed Evigheden - Back on Earth, the Gods and Goddesses who still had their rights found out about the outcast Deities creating a land from scratch. They got jealous that they never said anything, but why would they? They were outcasts! So the Deities on Earth made a plan to turn the outcasts Gods and Goddesses magic sour. Sadly, they were successful.
Within hours a deadly fog rolled over Evigheden but it didn’t take the souls long to figure out it’s ghastly side effects. If the fog touches your skin it will burn you, but if you breathe it in it will liquify your internal organs.
52,007 - The Timonic fog was lifted - Eleven thousand years later the Timonic fog finally came to an end. At first the souls of Evigheden were terrified, everyone around them was dying, but after a few years they learned to adapt. Luckily the fog came in waves every couple months and it wasn’t constant. Each land had built lookout towers on the edge of the forest and when they saw a wave of fog rolling in they would sound an alarm. Souls may have learned to adapt, but they sure were thankful when it was over.
63,157 - The Cupola enclosed on Evigheden - The souls of Evigheden were going about their daily lives when suddenly a dome enclosed their land, blocking out all of the light. Evigheden was engulfed in darkness and the souls started to panic and riot against the Deities, demanding answers. Though the Gods and Goddesses of Evigheden had no clue what was going on either, they told the souls that everything was under control to try and calm them, and it did. The Cupola covering Evigheden wasn’t all bad, the souls just had to live out their life in the dark and there were accessible light sources. Group by group souls ventured into the forest to try and find more ways to make light sources or find flora that glowed. At first each group was coming back with more stuff then the last, but soon enough the groups of souls stopped coming back all together.
65,000 - The Cupola shattered - The Souls had been living in the darkness for thousands of years since the Cupola covered Evigheden. After their schedules started always being off track and their eyes adjusted to the dark and a rare dime light. The Cupola started to crack and eventually it shattered, raining down large pieces of glass to the land, and of course everyone fought for a shard. They could make loads of Shyns off of Cupola shards, and one day there would be none left in Evigheden because who knows when something like that would happen again.
78,627 - Gleam Era started - One day all of the souls of EVigheden woke up and everything had an emerald green hue to it, the trees, the soil, the sky, the sun, even the inside of their houses! There was no indication that anything had caused Evigheden to have an emerald green hue, but it didn’t take the souls and the Deities long before they found out what it ment. For some reason the magic in Evigheden was almost ten times as powerful as it usually was. Souls in Evigheden are forbidden to use their magic but because the magic flowing through them was so strong at the time it was hard to resist using it. The more and more souls use their magic, the more and more chaos will come to Evigheden, and soon enough it awakened a vile beast.
78,629 - A human discovered Evigheden - On Earth the year was 1750, around February in London, England a very bad earthquake hit. It did more harm than good because it also affected Evigheden. The earthquake was so strong that it revealed the Ldfmznl portal to the humans. It was still hidden but it was now possible for someone to come across it, and someone did. A human went through the strange portal and it took him to Evigheden, of course he didn’t know where they were but that didn’t stop him from exploring. As he explored he learned and he learned some dangerous things, knowledge that no human should ever know. Once he found out he was in a world filled with magic he had to come up with a plan on how to steal it, because humans are greedy and selfish. All it will do is get them killed, but they don’t know that. So the human started stealing the magic from all around him and Evigheden started to die. The Gods and Goddesses at first had no idea that a human had entered Evigheden until everything started dying and they had to investigate. Evigheden is a very large world, it would take months, maybe even years to find one lonely human. The Gods and Goddesses sent out armies of warriors to comb through each land and The Forest Of Dreams, they even tore apart houses to make sure a soul wasn’t hiding him.
It took them a few months before they found the human and by then he had consumed so much of the world's magic that he was almost as powerful as the Deities. The warriors were too late for an easy battle but they couldn't let the human win and take over Evigheden. Because he would kill everything and everyone.
Half of the army stayed behind and shot arrows at him and the other half ran at him with swords and other melee weapons, but none of their tactics were any good against the human because he had too much power. Even Evigheden itself was furious, so furious in fact that the flora around them used the rest of the magic it had to help defeat the human. Vines hanging on nearby trees tied up the humans limbs so he had no place to run, flying species came swooping down to bite the human to teach him a lesson. In the end the human was caught and drained of his magic, he was then imprisoned deep underground in a dungeon. The souls of Evigheden couldn't let the human go back or he would tell others and start an uprising.
78,630 - The Gleam Era ended - Due to the human finding Evigheden and stealing almost all of its magic the gleam era ended.
78,630 - The Withering started to spread - The souls' bodies are used to a flow of magic consistently going through them. So when almost all of the magic from Evigheden was drained then returned so quickly souls bodies weren’t regulating the magic properly which caused them to all get extremely sick. At first it wasn’t bad, souls just thought it was a simple sickness like the flu, but after a few days they couldn't move and could hardly breath. Because without magic in their bodies they would die and since the magic in their body isn’t regulating properly their bodies didn’t realize there was magic going through them. They named this sickness The Withering.
78,851 - The Withering is starting to slow - Finally after a couple hundred years there were hardly any cases of The Withering. Everything was getting back to normal.
78,901 - Present year -
