The Wars of Esenie: The Lost Library of Gulibus Frekhofen

is a narrative campaign, using the setting of Warhammer 40k and a combination of the 40k rules and One Page Rules: Grimdark Future & Grimdark Future: Firefighht.

The campaign has been raging since 2008 in the local gaming club of S.I.S.A. (Swedish Institute for Strategical Analysis) in Uppsala, Sweden. And it still rages on!

Esenie is a subsector close to the Medusa system, which was engulfed in a terrible warp disaster. The Esenie sector consists of several planets under attack. The fiercest fighting is on the planet of Esenie X, where Tyranids, Chaos, Orks and the Imperium battle for supremacy. If the rich and vital Esenie X falls, the whole system will crumble.

The discovery that there is a lost library, which is rumoured to contain extremely powerful books and tomes, have cast yet another ingredient to this turmoil. The library, once established by the Space Marine Librarian Gulibus Frekhofen of the Crimson Templars, is rumoured to contain so much knowledge and dangerous books that they, in the wrong hands, may alter the state of, or even destroy, the whole galaxy. The race for the lost library of Gulibus Frekhofen is on!
