Open to all, a noncompetitive showcase available for constructive networking of any type.
Entry fees support The VSA Scholarship Fund, a pool of managed investments that provide tuition support for qualifying students of making and restoration in North American schools. Drawing on this fund, The VSA has given more than $60,000 since 2021. This is a meaningful advancement from our historical giving and represents a continued commitment to the importance of well-trained technicians - the primary goal of the musicians, enthusiasts, and professional makers who founded our organization nearly 50 years ago. We hope to continue giving at this level with help from members like you.
Attendees may inspect, play, and in many cases, purchase exhibited instruments and bows. The exhibit will range from the works of up-and-coming makers to skilled professionals to recipients of Hors Concours recognition.
Attendees are invited to perform on NIE instruments and bows at the annual informal chamber music gathering in the NIE exhibition room on Tuesday, November 15 from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
The NIE room will additionally feature two mini-exhibits on The Instruments of Joseph Rashid, a California-based innovator, and Sustainable Alternatives.
