Therefore, we offer the following services for Parents and Youth Professionals such as Educators and Childcare Centers, to equip the adults in the village to navigate child development in an person centered, innovative and trauma informed way.

The USW will educate parents on their rights as it relates to navigating school system by sitting on School meetings related to Social Emotional & Behavioral conferences, IEP Meetings and ACS hearings.
The USW is committed to advocate for the parent and family's needs and best interests from a macro-social work perspective.

The USW teaches trauma informed parenting through the use of the ARISE Formula.

The USW will collaborate with Parents to & adult youth leaders to develop their endurance to manage their own emotions while addressing their child's social, emotional needs from a trauma informed lens.
The USW will sit with each client to curate a holistic wellness plan that will coach the family or individual in alternative ways to address their presenting problems.
Meet Antoine's Family Resilience Coaching experience with the USW. Antoine struggled with some behavioral issues as a result of not knowing how to regulate his emotions. The USW collaborated with child, parent and school professionals to curate a Trauma Informed Wellness plan using the ARISE Framework to support Antoine not only overcome his social and emotional challenges, but also increased his confidence.
