Hadley
Hadley is an android nanny to a young boy named Charlie. After undergoing a dramatic change, she breaks free from her stoic, emotionless self and begins to feel things for the first time.
Konstantina Samartzis portrays Hadley.
Konstantina is a Melbourne based actor. Her screen credits include 'The Mission That Went Wrong' (2021), 'Seeing is Hearing' (2021), 'Room' (2022) and 'Fateless' (2022). Her stage credits include 'Top Girls' (2019), 'The Cherry Orchard' (2020) and 'For Our Next Trick' which premiered at the 2020 Melbourne Fringe Festival. She is currently working on two theatre projects: 'Mysteries' directed by Harry Haynes, which will premiere in November 2022 and 'The River' directed by Tom Noack, which will be staged in December 2022. Konstantina is a graduate of The National Theatre Drama school.
Charlie
A young, inquisitive, lonely boy. Charlie enjoys learning about everything and loves drawing. When his android nanny suffers a malfunction, Charlie begins to find the maternal connection he longs for.
Charlie is played by Daniel Horne.
Daniel Horne is a young model and actor from Melbourne, Australia who plays the lead male role of Charlie Blackmore in the film The Things I Feel. Daniel has worked on the feature film Time Addicts as well as the short film Don’t Be An Alan Shole. He has recent TV commercial experience and is best known for playing the role of Mini Bailey Smith in the NAB AFL Mini Legends campaign. He has also acted on TV commercials for Ford and Rosella. Daniel has taken acting and modelling classes, including training at NIDA, and has also taken private coaching lessons from very highly-experienced acting instructors. These have honed his skills and he feels confident performing in front of a camera. He is an avid musician and singer and is learning several instruments including guitar.
Ms. Blackmore
Charlie’s distant mother. She puts her career first above anything else, including her own son.
Ms. Blackmore is portrayed by Kathryn Hedger.
Kathryn Hedger hails from Geelong in Victoria. She has trained as an actor for 10 years at Screen Actors Australia and just recently done work as an extra on the TV show La Brea and the Feature Film Force of Nature. She has also participated in the short films “The Magical Crow”, “My Name is Mildred” and “The Rockstar that wasn’t".
Kathryn enjoys playing the piano, singing, training in Aikido, painting, gardening and spending time with her kids and husband.
