We are Kappa Alpha Theta at Saint Louis University. Our members come from all across the United States, especially Illinois and St. Louis, as well as from other countries. We love spending time with our sisters, whether at Theta events or not.
Sisterhoods
This year our sisters got the opportunity to "grow together" with a plant and paint sisterhood growing black and gold pansies. We also spent the night dancing away with a virtual Just Dance party sisterhood.
Founder's Day
Eta Omega celebrated 151 years of Kappa Alpha Theta on January 31st, 2021. Kappa Alpha Theta was founded at Indiana Asbury University in 1870 by four young women who wanted to create a space for women on campus in a time when the university student body was predominantly male. Together, they created the first greek letter fraternity for women that would expand internationally to include 147 chapters in the U.S. and Canada and over 200 alumnae chapters and organizations.
We celebrated the occasion with a Zoom celebration. We honored our founders and had a good time with sisters in our chapter and in the St. Louis alumnae chapter.
Family Weekend
Eta Omega hosted its annual Family Weekend following philanthropy week. Our families and friends joined us for trivia and cinnamon rolls for Cakes for CASA!
