The Tanseys are a young, female fronted, four piece band from the Northside of Dublin.
They are a high energy, up and coming act, being compared to acts such as Fontaines D.C. and Flyleaf.
Starting in 2023, they have built up their reputation, gathering a strong following in North Dublin and gigged at every opportunity, playing in venues such as The Soundhouse, The Button Factory, The Grand Social, Swords Castle and The National Concert Hall!
The band have a great passion for music and performing, blending many different genres, such as Post Hardcore, Metal, Pop-punk and Alternative to create their own niche sound. They also say they intend to keep evolving! They have written their own original music and created their own original sound. They have released 2 singles in 2024 and will soon be releasing an EP!
They have many plans for the future, as they work on their EP and start preparation for an album. You will be able to catch them this summer at shows such as The Soundhouse, Garageland and more!
The band is made up of four members, Conor Duffy on guitar, Evan Hanlon on drums, Ben Comiskey is on bass and Lily Read on vocals!
