Hi! We are The Tanseys, we started in 2023 and have since been performing and releasing music! This is a little bit about our members!

This is Conor's dog, Cookie.

-Conor-

Joining in 2023, Conor is The Tanseys one and only guitarist! Conor helped create the band, sticking up posters and finding other members.

I started playing guitar when I was 10 and ever since then it has been my passion. I am inspired by a lot of music and a lot of artists but if i had to decide alot of my inspiration comes from hardcore/post-hardcore bands and artists like Turnstile, Loathe, Sunami, Paleface swiss and knocked loose.

I started in The Tanseys in 2023 when i was only 15 years old, and since then I have been completely in love with performing and creating my own original sound. The band has helped me grow so much, and I continue to learn and grow everyday.

These are Lily's dogs, Maisie and Blue.

-Lily-

Joining The band in 2023 at only 14, Lily is The Tanseys Vocalist. Her and Conor created posters and searched for new bandmates after lily left her old band, creating the Tanseys.

I have been singing my entire life, doing musical theatre and shows and karaoke all the time. I have always loved singing and writing lyrics, writing my first songs at only 9 years old. I am inspired by many different genres and artists ranging from metal to rock to pop to punk and even country. I love Kate Bush, Jeff Buckley, Pierce The Veil, Limp Bizkit, Lizzie McAlpine and more.

I started in The Tanseys when I was very shy and didn't know much about instruments, since then the band has helped me evolve so much. Its very special to me.

This is Evan's dog, Rover.

-Evan-

Joining in 2024, Evan is The Tanseys drummer, he got this position after finding one of Lily and Conor's posters on a chair in HMV Henrys st.

I have been playing drums for about 3-4 years, (although when I first joined the band I may have lied about how long I had been playing). I joined The Tanseys when I was in a record shop in town and found a "looking for bandmates" poster.

I messaged Conor and joined straight away. It's crazy to think that was almost 3 years ago now.

I take a lot of inspiration from other drummers, such as Matt Nichols, Danny Carey and ii. The Energy the bring to music is what drives me.

This is Ben's cat,jesse

Joining in 2025, Ben is the newest members of The Tanseys, The bassist. He joined after being friends with Evan for a while, and fit in right away.

I have been playing the bass for about six years now.

I joined The Tanseys a few months ago (2025) after Evan reccomended me, but I knew the band for longer before then, just through the music scene and friends.

I take a lot of my inspiration from bassists like Geddy Lee, Paul Mcartney and Flea because I really love their style of playing and the music they make!
