How to Respectfully Edit an Article 

Down below are clips my edits on a review article on of my staffers wrote about the recent Frankenstein movie. It was good, but like every article, it needed to be edited, which is a normal and straightforward part of journalism.  Let's see how I teach the staffer how to improve their writing, opposed to fixing it for them, eliminating their learning opportunity.

With simple critiques, it is easy to peacefully communicate and correct the mistakes that staffers are doing. It's important to explain WHY you are editing the way you are, so that way they can not only apply the changes confidently, but learn for themselves.
