The timeline of FFaF

The story starts in the 1930s, where a circus has come to perform in a small town. The circus was called Fredbear's Singin' Show, which featured a live bear named Fredbear being the star of the show.

The bear couldn't actually sing, but with a bit of illusion (a gramophone and the fact that the bear was trained), it made it seem like the bear can! This wonderful bit of magic would be the thing to inspire a young boy to make a brand of entertainment of his own, featuring singing characters like Fredbear. And that boy's name, was William Afton. When William was an adult, he finally created his own small franchise inspired by the singing bear Fredbear. Due to copyright reasons, he changed Fredbear's design, giving him golden fur and a purple hat and bowtie. However, he also gave Fredbear a friend. A character of his own name named Melhare (A.K.A, Spring Bonnie). William loved Spring Bonnie, cause it was a character HE created from scratch. William would then open a small diner in 1980 called Fredbear's Family Diner and design hand-made costumes and animatronics to wear the costumes.

However, Fredbear's would soon not be the only popular franchise with animatronic performers as later on, Fredbear's would soon meet it's match with it's new business rival Chica's Party World.

Chapter 2: Chica's Party World

A few months after Fredbear's opening, a small franchise came along called Chica's Party World, a children's restaurant that featured animatronics created by a man named Henry Emily, that were similar to William's characters. The animatronics were Mr. Hippo, a hippo that told stories, Orville, a elephant that did magic, Happy Frog, a happy-go-lucky frog that can sing, Pigpatch, a pig that played the banjo and Caroline (AKA, Chica the Chicken), the star of the show that'd put a smile on kids faces. William didn't care about any of the animatronics except for one...

There was another animatronic in the band, Nedd Bear, a a townsfolk bear with a heavy southern accent. Wait, a bear!? But bears were his thing!

Why not a cow or a horse?

William was quite worried about what was going to happen to Fredbear's if Chica's Party World was around but lucky for William, Chica's Party World wasn't that much popular and sadly closed down. William felt kind of bad for Henry since deep, deep, deep, deep, down, Henry's animatronic designs were, decent. So, he offered to help Henry.

Chapter 3: Fredbear's Family Diner

William's wanted Henry to join business. William wanted Henry to help him because he wanted Henry to help create brand new characters to be part of the Fredbear Family. Henry agreed, and together, they rebranded Fredbear's Family Diner under the name of Fazbear Entertainment. They made different versions of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, which can be shown here:

They also made a new animatronic character named Mary O'nette, also referred to as Marionette or Puppet, a security puppet that was designed to keep the children safe:

The diner became a success in 1980 to 1982 and in the beginning of 1983, William used some of the money to make a small TV show with the help of a production studio called Animdude Productions and made Fredbear and Friends, a show featured around the adventures of Fredbear Fazbear, Melhare Harbit and Mary O'nette, along with new faces like Freddy Fazbear and the Freddles Fred, Rick and Teddy, Benjamin Bunbit, Caroline Chickfeast and Fiorello Foxtrot, also featuring Marionette's older brother, Marionne and Mel's little brother Plushhare (Also referred to as Plushtrap). The show was able to release episodes every Saturday and Sunday thanks to amount of people working in the company and made four seasons (20 episodes each with the final season having a extra two episodes) of Fredbear and Friends, making 88 episodes in total! (Yes, I aware it's not possible but the TV in FNaF 4 does say 1983. AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY FREDBEAR'S WAS IN 1987 OR I'LL STEAL YOUR EXOTIC BUTTERS!!!)

Everything was going great for William and Henry, until things started to go wrong...

Chapter 4: The Bite of 83

If you were to ask William if he loved his family, he'd say yes. He really did care for his family even when he didn't seem like he did. William had a wife named Clara, two sons named Michael and Evan and a daughter named Elizabeth. To him, it was the greatest family anyone can ever have.

However, the great family did have some flaws. For starters, the mother and the father would sometimes argue over different things like the bills, responsibility for the family, pineapple on pizza, etc. And the older brother would always pick on his younger siblings. But still, great family. William cared for his son Evan quite alot. He even made a plushie that would look after him called Psychic Friend Fredbear. But soon, something would happen to William and his family that would affect them forever in their lives. On the 25th of October 1983, Evan Afton would be bullied by his older brother Michael and his friends Richard Janes, Josh Benson and Karen Madison. They would scare him by wearing the masks of the characters from Fredbear and Friends (Richard as Freddy, Josh as Benjamin, Karen as Caroline and Mike as Fiorello) and then take him to Fredbear to "give him a big kiss". However, things would go wrong and Fredbear would accidentally bite the child's head. Fredbear's strong mechanics would cause him to chomp into Evan's brain and tear out the frontal lobe. Ambulances would come to Fredbear's to get the child but Evan was already going to die. I guess you can say

Ha ha, that wasn't funny was it?

Chapter 5: Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and Circus Baby's Pizza World

The year was 1985 and after Fredbear's was closed down in 1983, Henry tried to open a new restaurant. He couldn't use the original Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, since they were...

..No longer usable...

So instead, he used the backup versions (Animatronics 2) as replacements. Although, he decided that even though Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were still going to be used, there needed to be a new face for Fazbear Entertainment after the incident at Fredbear's and decided to use some of the characters from Fredbear and Friends. He decided to use the other four main characters of the show, Freddy, Benjamin, Caroline and Fiorello. He didn't add Marionne and instead added Marionette because she was more bright and cheerful for the kids. And he didn't add Plushtrap and the Freddles because Henry didn't think they were needed in the pizzeria. William also said that they should change the names of the characters to make them more memorable (Except Freddy, since his name was already okay). First, they changed Fiorello to Foxy, then Caroline to Chica and Benjamin's name to Bonnie. Henry and William don't know why they didn't go with something like Benny, but hey, they went with it.

Even when some people mistook Bonnie for a girl.

And then, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was created.

Meanwhile, Afton decided to create a business to help build and create animatronics for Fazbear Entertainment. He named it: Afton Robotics LLC. It would also be thanks to Afton Robotics that he would decide to work on making a brand new location featuring animatronics from his design called Circus Baby's Pizza World. The cast of animatronics were Freddy and Bon Bon, a ventriloquist and his puppet, Ballora, the ballet dancer, Foxy, a actor instead of a pirate and Circus Baby, a clown that could do all sorts of things.

"She can dance, she can sing, she’s equipped with a built-in helium tank for inflating balloons right at her fingertips. She can take song requests. She can even dispense ice-cream."

It seemed like everything was going back to normal. However, things were only going to get worse.

Chapter 6: The Death of Charlie

After the murder of Evan, William became a different man. No longer was he a man with a dream to bring fantasy and fun to life but now a overworked business man that would go to the nearby JR's bar every night to drink his troubles away. He didn't even spend time with his family anymore, as he was to busy to deal with them. Before Evan died, he promised he'd put him back together, somehow. He started doing different types of experiments on how to bring his son back. Was it a crazy idea? Yeah, but he had to try. He then stumbled upon a substance he called Remnant. He needed more to study upon. One night, William had to many drinks and was kicked out of JR's. William was pissed off and drove off in anger in his Purple-Mobile (Yes, he named his car that). He drove past Freddy's and saw Charlie outside of the pizzeria, standing in the rain. Great, some bullies must have locked her out. He looked out through his car and thought. Henry seemed to have moved on from when Evan was chomped by Fredbear, he seemed to be acting like it never happened. Like it didn't exist. He didn't care. William wanted to show Henry what it was like to lose someone. Plus, he did need some remnant to study on. So, ẇ̷̤̻̜̚h̶̺̗̪̓́ÿ̶̻̦́̔ ̶͓͈̄͌̊n̷̤̤͒͌o̸̩̥̪͝t̸͇͒ ̴̛̘k̷̺̄̓͛i̶͔͕̱̽̑l̶̨̗͇̋̎ḽ̶̏̓͠ ̶͎̋̀̕t̵͙̫̋̄̐ḧ̸͚̙̞́̈̒ȩ̶̦̾̃̋ ̶̙̯͎̎l̶̢̘͆̽̄i̷͙̅t̶̲̖̓ͅt̵̡̻͚͐̽͠l̶͔̉̈͠ͅe̶̡̯͙̓̾ ̸͓͊s̶̢̞̭̿̓h̵̨͂í̸͓̋t̷̡͙͆͝?̴̯̘̀̚

William would collect the remnant and leave. Freddy's would then get closed down after the body was found. However, they also found The Puppet animatronic lying next to Charlie. This was probably due to the security protocols that Henry added to keep Charlie safe. William was feeling pretty good about himself. He got the remnant he needed and was going to continue his studies.

However, killing Charlie would soon come with a price. A very big price.

Chapter 7: The Closing of Circus Baby's

William had been working on the Circus Baby project and after his discovery on remnant, he upgraded his Funtime animatronics to collect remnant by luring children and capturing them. Foxy and Ballora were designed to lure the victims and Freddy and Baby were designed to capture them inside the storage containers built within their stomachs. Soon, William would open Circus Baby's, and set his plan in motion. However, he decides not to start luring victims just yet, and instead gain the trust of others so they would come back. Then, he will capture and collect.

However, something dreadful would happen that would cause William's plan to go wrong.

Later one night after the opening of Circus Baby's, Elizabeth Afton would sneak out to see Circus Baby. She was told that the robot was built just for her but for some reason, her father wouldn't let her go close to Baby.

"Daddy, just once let me go play with her. She’s so pretty and shiny! Didn’t you make her just for me? "

She would sneak in through the pizzeria and find Circus Baby. Finally, she can get up close to to beautiful robot that was designed to be just like her. However, this joy wouldn't last long...

William's wife Clara woke up in the night when she heard Elizabeth escape the house. She secretly followed Elizabeth to Circus Baby's and hid so she wouldn't be seen. She saw Elizabeth talk to Baby for while but then what happened next made her freeze in horror. Baby activated and scooped Elizabeth inside of her, killing her instantly. Clara was terrified and just seconds later, the animatronics activated. Mrs. Afton tried to escape but was quickly cornered by Ballora. The next day, Circus Baby's Pizza World was shut down. Due to leaks apparently...

Chapter 8: New and Improved!

In 1987, Henry decided to try again with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, this time, he made brand new animatronics made brand new animatronic characters and decided to get rid of the old costumes.

By now, Henry and William had developed two different roles other than business owners. Henry was the decision maker while William took care of the money.

Henry had created new versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy which he referred to as the Toy animatronics. He also created another version of Foxy he called Foxie and made them a kids entertainer instead of a pirate. He also remade the Puppet animatronic after it was soaked in the rain outside of the old Freddy Fazbear's. He also added a group of small kid animatronics named Balloon Boy, Balloon Girl and Jolly Girl.

However, things weren't going exactly as planned.

• His first problem was that something was wrong with the animatronics. He designed the animatronics so they had facial recognition technology that was tied into local criminal databases, and promised to put on a safe and entertaining show for kids and grown-ups alike! But somehow, the programming was interfered and the animatronics started to suspect all adults as a type of danger.

• Kids just couldn't keep their hands themselves. Foxie wasn't given a proper stage and kids would tear her apart and leave her in a mess. Henry would try and repair her but instead left her in a mangled state, now calling her The Mangle.

• After creating the Toys, Henry threw the old animatronics away in the Parts and Service room. However, the animatronics were somehow still active and reports would come in of them making noises and wondering about at night.

Henry tried hiring a night guard named Jeremy Fitzgerald to keep an eye on the animatronics but two weeks later, the new Freddy's was pretty much getting closed. But what made things worse was when Jeremy was attacked by the Mangle, getting bitten in the head. The incident was dubbed "The Bite of 87".

Chapter 9: The End of Afton

Other than The Bite of 87, there was in fact another incident known as "The Missing Children Incident", a incident where five children were lured into a private safe room by a yellow rabbit and then went missing at Freddy's. And it probably won't take a detective to guess who was the murderer was in the rabbit costume.

William was impressed with himself, he killed five kids. An amazing goal. He then hid the bodies in the old animatronic suits in the back, got some remnant and called it a day. However, it wasn't over yet. After the incident, William then started hearing about the suits at the back acting strange and roaming around at night. William realised that the souls of the victims were now possessing the animatronics. So, when Freddy's got closed down, William took the opportunity to destroy the animatronics and extract more remnant out of them. However, things didn't go as planned and when he tried destroying the animatronics, the souls were released and started taunting William.

William was chased into the safe room and was cornered. However, he saw the spare Spring Bonnie suit and hid inside. He knew that the souls knew that he was inside but he knew that they didn't know that he knew that the suit would protect him. He had beaten the system!

However, instead of protecting him, it crushed his entire body. William forgot to wind the springlocks back and then died. Henry found William the next day. Henry had found out about William's little murders and honestly was glad William got his punishment.

Chapter 10: A New Era

It was the year 2023, and Fazbear Entertainment had been awfully quite ever since. Henry was planning to open another Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but needed help from someone since he no longer had a business partner. However, one boy was willing to help, and his name was Johnny. Henry was unsure about letting a thirteen year old boy help but he gave it a shot. And it worked.

Johnny helped create a VR game that made fun of the stories of Freddy's and created a delivery service where people could have animatronics delivered right into their home. Fazbear Entertainment was back on top!

The last thing they needed was to make a brand new pizzeria. And Johnny agreed to be the one running it. Johnny had also found William's research and studies in remnant and decided to give it a shot. He studied and studied harder than he did for his assessments in school! (Because he never studied for his assessments in school.)

And once the animatronics were built, Johnny used this as the opportunity to use the remnant on them. And it worked! The animatronics were now given conscience. He also took the chance to test out shadow remnant and create a living shadow. A shadow animatronic! He succeeded. The one last thing he did was set everything up, watch from his office, and create the very first episode of Freddy Fazbear and Friends. And the story, continues from here:
