The voice actors
When making Episode 2 of Freddy Fazbear and Friends, I decided that it would be cooler to have voice actors. I decided to get my sister as Carol the Golden Cupcake, since I was hitting puberty and doing the voice of a little cupcake girl would be kinda weird. I was originally thinking of getting a friend of mine to voice the other female characters but she unfortunately couldn't do them. But in Episode 2, she voiced an arcade machine. 🕹️
Naming the characters
Originally, Vixen was going to be called Foxie (Foxy but with an "ie" at the end instead) but I scrapped Foxie for Vixen because vixen is actually the name for a female fox.
Carol the Golden Cupcake was originally called Chara the Cupcake but I decided to go with Carol instead for two reasons:
First, Carol is the female alternative to Carl
Second, this.
Then, there was naming Cassidy. I wasn't quite sure if Golden Freddy should be called Cassidy, because it wouldn't make sense for Fazbear Entertainment to name their new animatronic after a child that went missing at the restaurant. But I REALLY liked the name, so I decided that she would go with the name Goldie but she would make everyone call her Cassidy, since it'd be cooler.
BUT EVEN CASSIDY COULDN'T MAKE FIRST PLACE IN HARDEST TO NAME! No, that title, goes to Spring Bonnie. I wanted Spring Bonnie to have a new name, since Spring Bonnie isn't really a name. I searched all over for new name for the yellow rabbit. I had Bonnie Bun, Billy Bunny, Benjamin, but they didn't feel right. They, I stumbled onto this.
A new name for Spring Bonnie! AND IT WAS: Melhare. It felt perfect. So I went with that.
Personalities
When creating the characters, I wanted to give each character a unique personality to make them stand out.
Freddy was given a happy go-lucky personality just like Freddy in the games,
Bonnie was made to be quite intelligent and be the brains of the group,
Chica was the sweet girl in the group with a excitable personality,
Sparky was made as a goofy, rock 'n rollin' dog,
Carl and Carol were made to be like young kids with a mix of adventure,
Foxy and Vixen were made as two lovers with a passion of swashbuckling and each other,
Puppet was made as the quite one of the group who is willing to help people,
Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were made to be brothers in arms, one hard-working, the other fun-loving,
Cassidy was made as the misunderstood, rough and tough girl who looks like she hates everyone but deep down (And I mean really, really, really, deep, deep down), she cares. Sort of.
Shadow Freddy and Endo were made to be the iconic and funny duo. One lazy, the other eccentric. So, I made their personalities the same as two VERY familiar skeletons.
Then when creating the Cult of Afton, I also gave each character a unique personality to make them stand out.
Glitchtrap and Vanny were inspired by two very interesting characters. When I watched Netflix, I found a show called Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight that featured two villians that stood out to me. They were these two weasel named Klause and Veruca, and the moment I heard their voices, I thought:
Glitchtrap and Vanny.
I don't know, it just reminded me of them.
Gootrap was made to be like a creepy but goofy creature,
Masktrap was the geeky brains of the group (even though he sometimes isn't),
Monotrap was the mysterious one of the group,
Pittrap was the brute-force of the group while Chasertrap was the quick and sneaky one,
Scythetrap was the silent one of the group (like the quiet kid)
And Pilltrap and Mantistrap were the hunter and his pet, with abilities that help them catch their prey... Sometimes. I also made Pilltrap sound like Tord from Eddsworld.
More coming soon...
