Background and History

Eiji was born into a clan where beauty was the only thing that mattered. However, Eiji was born with “weird” eyes, which led to him being despised by his entire clan. He was abused and treated like an object—or even worse. The only exception was his brother, Nakuji, who was always there for him. Nakuji supported Eiji through everything, and together, they dreamed of escaping the clan. They were incredibly close, and Nakuji even gave Eiji a red crystal he had found as a symbol of their bond.

Nakuji was also close to a girl named Shaya; they were good friends. Eiji didn’t know her very well, but one day, Shaya and Nakuji decided to play near a ravine. Tragically, Nakuji fell. Shaya was horrified, but at that exact moment, Eiji arrived and saw his brother’s lifeless body on the ground—and Shaya standing there. He immediately assumed that she had killed him, but before he could act, Shaya fled.

Consumed by rage, Eiji unleashed his power and slaughtered his entire clan. No one survived his wrath. Eiji was on the brink of death himself as his final form was about to manifest, but Asael found him just in time and decided to recruit him into the Cross.
