Dismissed Bulacan First District Engineer Henry Alcantara was rushed to a hospital in Pasay City on Monday after experiencing chest discomfort, Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Mao Aplasca confirmed on Wednesday.

Alcantara, one of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) officials linked to the flood control controversy, was brought to Pasay Medical Center for medical evaluation. He underwent an electrocardiogram (ECG) and other confirmatory tests to determine the cause of his condition.
