I plan to direct my two written short films. One being a dramatic, psychological, and reflective short film titled Ilondelo (ee-lo-ndelo, a personalized twist on a word meaning ‘mirror’ in a native Zambian tongue). The other is a dramatic rom-com titled MayBee. My debut written and directed feature film will be Collectors, a psychological horror/thriller project. I’d like to pitch Collectors to one of my favourite studios, A24. I also have two larger stories that I have been world-building: Pangea (sci-fi, thriller project) and Saints (fantasy, horror project with deep Zambian cultural elements). I also plan on working on an epic Biblically-accurate cinematic universe. I'm praying for The Lord to help me connect me with like-minded artists. People should experience and see what The Bible describes. The Bible is more than a book(s), yet the greatest ever. I respect creatives like Dallas Jenkins, who are truly representing the faith.

I will say that I think the misconception that a filmmaker or anyone who brings stories to life needs Hollywood or a big studio to succeed is very limiting to the authenticity and individuality of any artist. If I’ve learned anything in all my years in this life, it’s that it really does start with a dream-with belief. It begs the question of what success is to an individual.
