For every quarter that you reach $1,800 or more in wholesale, you are a Star Consultant! When you reach the $1,800 level, your production converts to points. (e.g. $1,800 in production equals 1,800 points). These points can be used toward Star Prizes! More production equals more points, and the better prizes you get to choose from! For every Qualified new Team Member you have you get an additional 600 points to add on once you reach that $1,800 production level. There are 5 different levels of the Star Consultant program.

Use Mary Kay Products!
You are a business owner so it is important to shop from your own store. Are there Satin Hands Sets by each of your sinks? Do you use Mary Kay soap? Sanitizer? Shaving foam? Lotions? Are all your glamour products Mary Kay? How about your loved ones? Are they using skincare? Are there any birthdays or gift-giving holidays coming up? You sell what you use. Want to sell a lot? Then, you need to use a lot! Shop from yourself at 1/2 price and enjoy the tax deductions this option offers! Sit down with your Look Book, circle the items you're not using, and add them to your cart.
Order Early
When products become available each quarter, be sure to order them right away before they are out of stock. Keep your frequent customers excited about what is new and book them to explore the new items each quarter!
Sell!
Hold selling appointments! Those who hold 2-3 parties per week find it easy to be a STAR consultant each quarter. Overbook, knowing 50% of appointments cancel or postpone. And be sure to follow-up with those who cancel/postpone and get them on your datebook immediately upon cancelation.
Offer Gift-Giving Services
Advertise your executive gift-giving service at every facial, offering gift-giving ideas for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Valentine's Day, Easter Basket stuffers, bridal showers, baby showers, etc. Be sure to get the wish list of each of your customers and their "Santas", including their significant other. Text him and offer your gift-giving services, letting him know you have her wish list and will wrap for him! Men love that!

10 product samples with separate people this week, call them for feedback, orders, and/or to book their pamper session.
Customer Contest
Create a contest with your best 6 customers to do a $200 sales challenge by sharing their favorite products with their friends. Whoever completes the challenge gets her choice of Essential Brush Set, Sonic Skinvigorate System, or Travel Rollup Bag. Set them up with a few Look Books, Sales Slips, and/or direct them to your website.
Birthday BINGO Bash
Invite birthday customers to our Birthday Bingo Beauty Bashes. Offer 20% off any purchases during their birthday month simply for joining the FaceBook group.
$1,000 Challenge
Do a $1,000 Day Challenge and offer a free gift with $40+ purchase.
Skin Analyzer App
Ask 10 people to take a Skin Analyzer App selfie and send to you. Give 10% off any items on his/her recommendation list as a thank you.
Recruit the Family
Challenge your son, daughter, spouse, mother, MIL, aunt, etc. to sell $200.
Upsell
Deliver reorders and up-sell asking "Would you like 1 or 2?" or by suggesting a new item to try.
Phone Lottery
Hold a phone lottery: call as many customers as you can in one hour and tell them that one of them will receive their order at 1/2 price.
Make It Nice
Spritz your reorders with a fragrance of the month. You'd be surprised how many people end up ordering the fragrance just by doing this!
