About Us 

  My family and I are just a backyard hobby Harrogate, TN 

Who quickly become obsessed with chickens and their egg colors. We are on a quest to see how many different egg colors we can create through mixing breeds. Breeding specifically for egg color. Our Facebook @TheR7Coop we have started to document this journey and has also allowed us to meet a lot of amazing people along the way. We are still learning and don't claim to know it all. This is not a business for us,  it's a hobby. Literally for us it is about sharing our love for something with someone else to make people excited about what makes us excited.

Our goal is to inspire our customers by offering a variety of colorful breeds,such as Black Cooper Marans , Olive Eggers, Welsummers, Silver and Gold Laced Wyandotte, Cream Legbars and others. We are committed to raising our chickens in a humane and natural environment. Ensuring they are well-fed and healthy. We spend lots of time with all our chickens throughout the day. So we are always aware if one becomes sick. We immediately separate any ill chicks or chickens from the rest of our flock. Each time a chicken is held its checked for lice,mites and overall health of the chicken.

               From rare breeds to friendly barnyard favorites, every bird here has a story we're  happy to share a little piece of our coops with you.
