The mission of Detroit’s Matrix Theatre Company is to use the transformative power of creating, producing, and performing theatre to change lives, build community, and foster social justice. Since our founding in South West Detroit in 1991, we continue to provide low-to-no cost, low barrier programming for people of all ages and cultivate a space for all individuals to become the creators, producers, and audiences of original, new, and previously produced theatre.
C & G Collective is an interdisciplinary arts practice based in Detroit that partners with educational and cultural institutions, health care centers, local businesses, and civic centers to produce and evaluate social justice programs hinged on the assets and needs of diverse populations.
