The Pumpkin Doula
The Pumpkin Doula
Katie Valdrow, THW Doula & CLC
— chaotic, passionate, loud‑laughing doula and lactation counselor who loves birth work almost as much as I love a good iced coffee. I’m not the “soft‑spoken, float around the room” type of doula. I’m the “laugh with you, cry with you, advocate for you, and climb into the trenches with you” type.
I’ve been obsessed with babies and birth since I was tiny. Life threw me into the deep end with my own breastfeeding struggles, and instead of drowning, I came out certified, trained, and ready to help other families navigate the wild ride.
I’m fiercely protective of your autonomy, and deeply human.
If you want a doula who brings knowledge, heart, humor, and a little bit of feral energy... that’s me!
Inclusivity Statement
Here’s the deal: if you’re a decent human, you’re welcome with me. I don’t tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any kind of discrimination — not in my space, not in my work, not ever.

Making meals -- Note on this.... I am able to do Gluten Free. My partner has celiac, so my kitchen is about 75% gluten free. Because of this is cannot 100% guarantee cross contamination. But I do my best to always minimize risk. All other allergens I cannot accommodate in my home kitchen at this time.
