What happens in Kaboodle:
A Story of Unstructured Play
A Story of Unstructured Play
Esh is an early childhood practitioner of 22 years, a certified ABA therapist and a play practitioner who has been in the play space for 7 years and counting. A mum of 2 boys, she believes that play is essential in growth and social awareness in every child and adult. In a world filled with screens these days, her playgrounds are screen free and advocate the absolute need for non structured play.
I will be using Kaboodle as a key reference point in unstructured play. Will be drawing parallels to usual playgrounds which have structures for kids to play on and the imaginative blocks that have absolutely no structure and encourage children to engage in unstructured imaginative play. This method of play can be applied in indoor and outdoor spaces.
