#8 Lastly, Things to Bring to The Play Assembly
Comfortable Clothing: Come dressed to move, sit, explore and take part in playful activities throughout the day.
Comfortable Footwear: You may be moving between sessions and getting involved in hands-on activities, so wear something easy to move in.
Water Bottle: Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. A refillable bottle is best.
Notebook & Pen: For capturing ideas, reflections, quotes or that one thought you definitely want to bring back to your work.
Mobile Device: Useful for photos, notes, QR codes and connecting with fellow participants. Remember to keep it on silent during sessions.
Power Bank / Charger: It’s a full day, so a little extra power may come in handy.
A Small Bag: Something easy to carry for your personal items and anything you pick up during the Assembly.
A Light Jacket: Indoor spaces can get chilly, so bring an extra layer if you tend to feel cold.
Your Questions: Bring along something about play that you’ve been wondering, struggling with or wanting to explore.
Your Ideas: You’re not just here to listen. Come ready to contribute, exchange and build on ideas with others.
Your Playful Side: Be prepared to participate, experiment, make things, move around and perhaps feel a little silly.
An Open Mind: Come ready to meet new people, encounter different perspectives and experience play in ways you might not expect.
