 Children today have less free time, more structured schedules, less independent play, more screen-based engagement, and fewer opportunities for unstructured exploration.
Yet play remains one of the most important ways children develop socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically.
The Play Collective brings together educators, therapists, artists, play practitioners, and advocates who believe in restoring the value of play in society.

The Play Assembly is a full-day gathering designed to inspire thought, spark curiosity, encourage experimentation, and strengthen collective advocacy for play.

We started The Play Collective because we believe play deserves a rightful place in childhood and society.

We believe play is more than entertainment. Through play, children build confidence, form relationships, explore ideas, solve problems, express emotions, and discover who they are.
The Play Collective brings together educators, therapists, artists, play practitioners, industry leaders, parents and advocates who believe in restoring the value of play through shared conversations, experiences, and collective action.
