Hello, my name is Daisy Castillo! I am an undergraduate student at SFSU majoring in psychology and minoring in biology. I aspire to utilize my experience as a student researcher to contribute insight and inclusivity to the psychological field. I strive to ensure marginalized Latinx and immigrant communities receive accessible and comprehensive mental health support.

Andria Clays

Hello, my name is Andria and I am a Psychology major at SFSU with a research interest in the impact of mind-body healing practices and accessibility of mental health services for underserved communities. My career focus is to bring a culturally competent, integrative, holistic approach to the clinical setting. In the future, I aim to collaborate with other practitioners in opening a non-profit community-based wellness center.  

Santana Favela

I am a transfer student at SFSU pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology. Psychology for the People's mission to make psychology better and more accessible for a wide range of communities align with my goal to understand, advocate, and teach others about underrepresented groups. I want to gain research experience to eventually conduct my own studies on neurodivergent populations with their intersectional ties. 

Golzar Ejadi

Hello, my name is Golzar and I am a second-year student in the Clinical Psychology Master's program at SFSU. I am interested in conducting research that centers the needs of individuals from culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse backgrounds. I am also interested in exploring research that employs mind-body practices to help boost mental health outcomes and overall health in diverse populations. Overall, I strive to serve as a direct access point for holistic and reflective mental health research and clinical practice.

Yani Morales

Hello, my name is Yani Morales. I am an undergraduate student at SF State, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Counseling. In my role as a student researcher, I aim to acquire a deeper understanding of research methodologies and to develop my critical thinking skills. I am passionate about advocating for historically marginalized groups, and as a researcher, I am committed to contributing to the expansion of research focused on these communities and their unique experiences and challenges.
