The People Lab team is a multidisciplinary group of designers, researchers, practitioners, and students dedicated to participatory and community-driven innovation. Together, we combine research methods, local knowledge, and real-world practice to create solutions that are inclusive, sustainable, and grounded in people's lived experiences.
School of Design, Doon University
Dr Dhriti Dhaundiyal is the Head in/charge of School of Design. She completed her PhD in industrial design from IIT Bombay. She has previously worked as an automobile designer in India and Japan for Tata Motors, Maruti India and Suzuki Japan. Founder and Head of the School of Design at Doon University, she set up the undergraduate program offering specialisations in Product Design & Graphic Design. She is involved in field documentation and research in Uttarakhand at the grassroots level of the craft and development sectors.
Research Interests : Participatory Methods & Co-design, Design Thinking & Prototyping, Sustainable Design, Mobility Systems.
