Peculiar Market Terms and Conditions

1. No bookings are confirmed until they are paid for in full, and must be paid for in full before the event.
2. The Peculiar Market reserves the right to cancel your stall at any time and for any reason, and this reason does not have to be disclosed.
3. The Peculiar Market bears no liability for loss, damage or theft of items during the event. The Peculiar Market is not responsible for trader vehicles, parking or parking fines.
4. You are responsible for your own property and safety at this event.
5. You must produce your public and product liability insurance to cover your stall and stock at the
6. time of booking. This insurance must be valid for the duration of the event. 
7. Electricity is not provided at the event. If you bring portable batteries/power stations please ensure these are PAT certified, cables are not trailing along the floors & taped down where required to prevent trip hazards. 
8. Stall sharing is not allowed. Any requests to stall share must be done so in writing and agreed prior to the event.
9. Deviation from goods being sold listed in your booking form is not allowed. Any items we feel breach this will be asked to be removed from your stall. 
10. The sale of any prohibited items i.e. mass produced clothing, jewellery and accessories; High Street branded goods; Modern cosmetics; food and drink, taxidermy and real furs without permission – may result in removal of these items or your removal from the event.
11. Stalls must not pack up or prepare to leave before the event's official closing time, failure to adhere to this may result in you not being allowed to trade at future events. 
12. Walkways and fire exits must be kept clear at all times throughout the duration of the event.
13. Open fires, lit candles or lit incense sticks are prohibited. This is due to health & safety and to ensure the fire alarms within the venues are not activated. 
14. Trader spaces must be left exactly as found. All rubbish and waste must be placed in the bins provided or taken away with you at the end of the event. .
15. Traders should be careful not to damage the venue whilst unloading, loading and setting up. Please do not stick anything to the walls, windows, doors or columns. Any damage caused to the venue will be billed to you.
16. Stall layout is down to the Peculiar Market organisers, and all floor plans are subject to change.
17. Promotional material used to promote The Peculiar Market must be the official materials provided by the Peculiar Market organisers. Creating and using any unofficial material is not allowed. 
18. The Peculiar Market organisers are not liable for delay or failure to provide services as a result of any act or circumstances beyond their control including but not limited to Act of God, legislation, injury, terrorism, war, fire, failure of power supply to the venue, weather conditions, lock out or strike.
19. Traders will receive a professional and courteous service from the Peculiar Market Organisers at all times. Any abuse of the Peculiar Market Organisers by traders via social media or other mediums, will not be tolerated and will result in your expulsion from the event and trading opportunities at future events. This includes but not restricted to abuse directed at venue staff or attendees of the event. Any concerns you may have with the Peculiar Market Organisers we kindly request you contact us privately in the first instance so we may have the opportunity to address these.
20. Copyrighted materials will not be allowed at a Peculiar Market event, please consider your work and make sure it does not breach this. Any items we feel breach copyright will be asked to be removed from your stall. 
21. AI generated images are strictly prohibited, this includes but is not limited to selling prints, cups, clothing or other merchandise with AI generated imagery. Any items we feel breach this will be asked to be removed from your stall. 
22. Any stall booking payment refunds granted are done so at the promoter’s discretion, and have the right to deduct any associated costs incurred and admin fees from a refund. 
23. Cancellation policy - cancellations for a full refund are possible if made 6 (or more) weeks prior to the event. No refund will be provided for cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the event.
24. The Peculiar Market reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
