Formally opened in January of 2014, the Happy School provides grade 1-8 education to more than 400+ children living in slum areas. There is no primary school in this area, so these children have no access to any kind of formal education. Thanks to generous donors, the school has advanced to be on-par with many private schools in the area, using MindSpark software in the classroom, taking children on field trips, organizing various sporting events, and more. In addition to education, the school provides all undernourished children with nutritious mid-day meals.
In addition to education and the programs mentioned above, the Happy School also organizes health check-up camps, speakers, and provides vocational training to mothers of students so they can become self-dependent.
