On December 24, 2021, we conducted a medical check-up camp in Sector 7 Mohali, Punjab, India. We provided free medical treatment for those who live in "slum" areas and do not have access to transportation, education, proper medical treatment, and housing. Working with Doctors from hospitals in Punjab that are family friends of Simran (president), they volunteered for the day to help provide free treatment. Medicine was bought using Simran's Christmas money and donations directly given from Simran (president) and family/friends.
We also brought light to "organ donation", and taught people who came by about how after death, donating your organs can help another person who is struggling. Many who felt inspired by this took a "pledge" and informally vowed to donate their organs after death to help another person.
RESULTS: 206 patients for the check-up camp, 84 people who informally pledged to participate in Organ Donation

They were taught about how many people in the world would be able to live when given the opportunity to receive a transplant, and how, if they so choose, deciding to donate their organs after death could help them continue their life. 148 people signed a pledge card stating that they would help others by deciding to donate organs to the sick after passing, and 50+ other people were educated on what organ donations and organ transplants are.
