There was once a young leader named Halach Uinic from the Jaguar Mayan Tribe. He was a brave heroic man that was tasked with the duty of writing to their Goddess Ixchel, who represented the moon. She looked over childbirth, fertility, medicine, the arts, and the bountifulness of the earth. The village people wanted to capture Ixchel in order to have her tied to their community only. Women were having a hard time conceiving their children, which is why they wanted to have the Goddess of fertility near. This way, they could have children and grow their community. Halach, with determination, began writing letters to Ixchel. She never responded back to him. He wrote to her and wrote to her so much that the ink he used, was beginning to dwindle. The tribe had given everything they had to Halach. There was now no ink left for love letters of any kind, even for the goddess.
