She is a virgin goddess of the moon, the hunt, wildlife, women and children, chastity, childbirth, and fertility. She is a goddess with many names such as Agroteré (of the hunt), Pheraia (of the beasts), and Orsilokhia (helper in childbirth). Amongst the Olympians, she is the half sister of Dionysus, twin sister of Apollo, and sister of Athena, as well as the daughter of Zeus and Leto.
