Whispers in the Dark

During the course of the night, each player may approach another in secret, their intentions veiled behind carefully chosen words. Vampires and Hunters may recruit Humans into their faction by quietly revealing themselves. When the Vampire or Hunter whispers their recruitment line, the target player must show them their character card.

🦇 The Forsaken (Vampires)

If you are a Vampire, you may whisper:

"I am a creature of the night, and now so are you." 

• If the target is Human: The Innocent is turned! They must give you their Human card as a testament to their fall and take a Vampire card, joining the ranks of the Forsaken. This counts as one "kill" for you.

• If the target is a Hunter: Your dark ambition is met with righteous fury! You perish. Give your Vampire card to the Hunter, and you are eliminated from the game.
  
  

🔫 The Order (Hunters)

If you are a Hunter, you may whisper:

"I am part of an ancient & secret order of vampire hunters. Join us in our fight against the darkness."

• If the target is Human: The Innocent is saved! They must give you their Human card as a symbol of their recruitment and take a Hunter card, joining the ranks of the Order. This counts as one "recruit" for you.

• If the target is a Vampire: Your holy conviction is met with deadly retaliation! You perish. Give the Vampire your Hunter card, and you are eliminated from the game.
