This virtual theme park is brought to you by Karla Proaño, MSc, a dedicated advocate for childhood development and education, with nearly two decades of experience in Ecuador and the United States.
Currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Technology Leadership, Karla brings a strong foundation in neuropsychology, early childhood education, and innovative teaching strategies. With a Master of Science in Neuropsychology of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, her journey has taken her through 20 years of teaching in prestigious schools and 8 years of specializing in therapeutic childhood development. Karla's work in northern New Jersey includes therapy and counseling services for children through various state agencies, focusing on developmental interventions, emotional well-being, and conflict resolution.
Karla is also the author of "My Magic Guide to Conflict Resolution," a resource dedicated to empowering children with the skills to navigate emotions and relationships. Beyond writing, she has had the privilege of speaking to international audiences as a Featured Seminar Speaker at ArteSuma in Quito, Ecuador, and a Webinar Series Presenter for Maestra de Inicial in Lima, Peru.
In addition to her hands-on experience, Karla holds multiple certifications, including Early Education Leadership (Harvard Graduate School of Education), DIR/Floortime® Advanced Practitioner, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Autism Awareness. These qualifications shape the mission of Happy Kids Happy World Park: to foster kindness, understanding, and growth through innovative, technology-rich activities and strategies.

Karla has 20 years of teaching experience in initial, primary and secondary education, from several prestigious schools in Quito, Ecuador, as well several institutions in the US across northern New Jersey. Karla also has 8 years of experience as a childhood development specialist offering therapy and counseling services to children through various State of New Jersey agencies in Passaic and Bergen counties.
The Happy Kids Happy World Park incorporates the knowledge and theories Karla has acquired throughout her educational and professional career, and represents a helpful collection of topics to help parents work with their children to develop a shared, collaborative understanding of how to productively interact together and with others.
