Asymmetric Base-Metal Catalysis
Research in the area is driven not only by an equal stake in the long-term viability of chemical synthesis, but also by the enormous potential for the discovery and development of novel reaction chemistry that can never be achieved with rare and precious metal catalysts. My goal is to highlight developments in base-metal catalysis, particularly catalysis with 3D transition metals, in a way that is accessible to those who work in the field of organic synthesis.
