Supervision & Safety
The Lounge is a staffed and supervised space at all times. Students have the flexibility to come and go as they please, but they must sign in and out through our secure system.
Supervision by a parent or guardian is not required for students in middle school through high school, but is required for elementary students.Â
Behavior Expectations:
We promote a culture of kindness, respect, and shared responsibility. Every youth who joins The Lounge agrees to a simply, clear code of conduct built around:
Treating people and property with respect
Cleaning up after yourself
Including others and practicing kindness
Following directions from staff
Using inclusive and respectful language
Violations are addressed quickly and fairly, with a restorative approach focused on learning and accountability. We make space for second chances - but keeping students safe is our top priority.
