The sounds of raucous laughter and warm smells invite intrepid travelers from all realms into this counter service restaurant. Probably the most welcoming place in the Lost Kingdom, the owner, Cord, has designed it that way, and has strict policy of kicking out trouble makers. Otherwise, all manner of creatures are welcome provided they spend a little coin.
The ceiling of this bustling tavern is covered in the smaller roots of the Dreaming Tree, and the proprietor of this establishment has used this to their advantage. In secret, the owner has carved into the roots themselves to use the tree's essence in their premium drinks! Need a dose of courage, or a sense of adventure, the barkeep will fix you right up. Don't be surprised to see a minor explosion behind the bar when mixing draughts (especially those made with the essence of the Dreaming Tree.
But drinks and a hearty meal aren't the only things guests will find in the Fortune and Folly. Be on the look out for a red-eye crow that will call out menacingly when a certain drink is ordered. On the second floor is additonal seating as well as the stairway to the "third floor" which is locked. If guests try to pull on the door knob, a rattling roar will ring out. Oh dear, it looks like someone is keeping a forbidden dragon in the attic!
The stand alone drink cart is stationed near the entrance of the Dark Forest, right on the edge of town is owned by a shift fellow named Brogan. Selling all manner of refreshing drinks for weary travelers leaving the Dark Forest and the brave souls daring enough to go in. The glowing bottles and flasks are delightful to the eye, but beware, these drinks lack the kick of those found at the Fortune and Folly. Just don't touch that one blue bottle off to the side, or you'll be in for a terrible shock.
Offerings: Non-alcoholic drinks, sodas, waters, teas (served in souvenir mugs or without)
This food cart is owned by a man named Fowler, but as he's so rarely at his cart, he conscripted others to operate his business in his stead. Nobody knows when he'll return, as he only left a note (posted to the side of the cart) saying he he'd return once his ship came in.
Offering: Turkey Leg, Nuts, water, soft drinks
