The open house introduced ~100 visitors to 3D Printing, ScienceArt, and play-based STEAM. Inspired by Michangleo's "Creation of Adam,"Jayden Aiden created an art installation that captured the open house's theme: Afrofuturism is STEAM. Octavia Brown helped visitors explore Newton's Laws of Motion as they engineered a magnetic marble run track. Kawama Wilson assisted visitors in making Aggie-themed circuit greeting cards. To make the card, the visitors had to complete the circuit with copper tape, LED lights, and coin cell batteries. Zenai Randle helped patrons make a paper helicopter, which they tested on a wind turbine, i.e., a fan, to observe its flight patterns. Ivor Daly, an electrical engineering student, designed an Aggie keychain on the 3D printer and discussed how the printer functions with visitors.
