The Loaded Spud knows that ordering from food trucks may come new to you and can be a little bit overwhelming if it’s your first time. Don’t worry, we have your back! We created a step-by-step breakdown on how to order in person from the BEST food truck in town, with success.
Steps listed below:
Find The Loaded Spud’s food truck, located at 1515 S. Wilcox St. In Castle Rock, Colorado.
Once you arrive at our location, our menu will be posted with our main menu that focuses on our most popular items. (Our menu has all the ingredients included listed below each potato option).
If you’re not feeling any of our main menu items, no problem! You can also build your own custom loaded baked potato with any of our provided ingredient's list that follows your preferred taste, to load on top of your baked potato.
Once you have an idea of what you’d like to order, come stand in line at our “Main window” and one of our friendly staff members will greet you with a smile and take down your order.
If you happen to have any questions about your order, feel free to let our staff know at the main window while ordering, as they will be happy to help with questions or alternatives to fit your dietary needs.
Once our staff member at the “Main window” has taken your order, you will pay them with cash or a credit/debit card at this time.
You will receive a buzzer that will notify you when your order is ready to pick up.
Now, you sit back and wait for us to prepare your order. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the order.
While you wait, feel free to grab a beer at the brewery we are parked in front of (if you’re age 21+). This way you can relax and let us do the cooking for you.
Once your order is ready, we will ring the buzzer we provided for you to come pick up your food at the “Pickup Window.”
Now you can enjoy your food at a table located in the brewery, or you can take your food home to enjoy!
We hope that this step-by-step breakdown helps any newcomers successfully order the baked potato of your choice! Our staff is here to help you if you have any questions at all, and we thank you for helping The Loaded Spud follow our dreams by feeding our community.

Once businesses started opening back up, our goal was to help our business thrive as well as help others thrive as well. So we partnered with a few local businesses around us and held a fundraiser. This fundraiser was to take 5% of our daily sales, while being parked in front of these local business and donate that 5% evenly among the few businesses that allowed us to set up shop in front. With this fundraiser, we have officially raised $10,000 and evenly distributed the funds to each of the businesses we were parked in front of. All in all we felt that this did help with bringing the community back together, even if it is a small accomplishment.
