The last piece clicked in like a puzzle as the machine whirred to life, "Finally! The moment I've been waiting for! "I exclaimed, excited. Lights flashed, beeps echoed (around the room) and I grinned, feeling elevated. Speaking of many adventures to come, it's door opened, inviting me in. Smiling, I leaped in and closed the door; instantly surrounded by buttons levers and gauges. Seeing that I had created this magnificent contraption, I surely knew how to operate it. My well-trained hands danced across the controls ,pushing and pressing with gusto.
I took one finally glance of my workshop; bright light, erratically scattered metal parts, and a bed tucked in the corner (seemingly forgotten). As it spun to life, spinning so fast my only window's view was a blur. Whoosh! came a sound, and I was off! My stomach was a blender as I vanished, along with the time machine.
Finally, I arrived at a dark shadowed space, like an endless void. Black, black, and you guessed it, black. I glanced around, and my prodigious memory explained that this might be before the big bang, which created our solar system. Certainly, I had been the first person to step foot in the void of darkness. At least it had a sort of majestic air, the type that reminded you of how small you were and how big the universe was. However, it managed to empower me too; there were so many possibilities out there, just waiting to be found. Taking a final glance at the ebony skyline, checking for any signs of life, meaning aliens, I turned around and set it to 13.bb2 million years in the future, which seemed like a really great random number and pressed... GO!
Once I became less dizzy from the turning,as fast as a roundabout trying to take fligh, I appeared at a tropical land filled with... dinosaurs and brightly colored plants. As the click of the door opened up, I stepped outside and grinned, than found a herd of triceratops running toward me. "Urggh!" I cried, and vaulted to a safe side. Unsprisingly, (due to my horrible luck) i saw it. The reason why the triceratops were running and croashing into my armor-plated contrivance. A towering giant of a monster, like a Godzilla in movies, thundered past. Creeping back into the contraption, I hurriedly sent myself off to my starter spot, but I instead just jolted suddenly. "NO!" I howled, "I'm trapped in time!"
