...will be starting their PhD in Fall 2026! Madison just defended her Master's at Wake Forest University on measuring the abundance of benthic communities in Belize using remote sensing.

...will be starting their PhD in Fall 2026! Madeline has multiple published papers on the plants and amphibians of the American southeast. She's considering the phylogeography & evolution of South American fishes for her dissertation!

Defended in Spring '26! Her research program focuses on the biodiversity of the Guiana Shield, including the description of new species, trophic ecology of fishes, and the biogeographic history of northern South America.
