By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access our services.

1. About The Knowledge Hub

The Knowledge Hub is an independent educational service provider based in Roy Bahadur Road, Behala, Kolkata, West Bengal – 700034, offering a digital platform to connect students and parents with qualified tutors. Our services include:

• Home tuition (at student's residence or teacher's residence)

• Coaching classes

• Online tutoring and doubt-clearing sessions

• Mock tests and practice materials

• Teacher-student matchmaking based on academic needs

We aim to provide academic assistance and learning support across a wide range of subjects and educational levels.

2. User Eligibility and Registration

To use our services:

• Users must be at least 18 years of age or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

• Accurate and complete information must be provided during registration.

• Teachers must provide true information about qualifications and experience.

• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts.

• We reserve the right to reject or terminate any registration at our sole discretion if we find the information provided to be misleading or harmful.

3. Nature of Services

Our platform acts as a facilitator between students and teachers. We:

• Allow teachers to list their profiles and subjects they teach

• Enable students/parents to search for suitable teachers

• Provide personalized matchmaking based on learning requirements

• Offer mock tests and academic support tools

• We provide coaching classes for students at our institution

We do not guarantee academic results, board rankings, or placement unless a formal written agreement exists for specific programs.

4. Fees, Payments, and Commission

• Students/parents may pay tutors directly or through us, based on the agreed arrangement.

• The Knowledge Hub may charge a service fee or commission from tutors for providing leads, registration, or class bookings.

• All applicable charges, if any, will be clearly communicated beforehand.

• Payment methods include UPI, bank transfer, and cash (in person).

• For online/offline classes or material purchases, payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

We follow a case-by-case refund policy. Refunds may be considered only under the following conditions:

·        If a technical issue (on our end) prevents delivery of digital services

·        If the student cancels well in advance and no service has been delivered yet

Refund requests must be made in writing via email within 3 days of the transaction.
All approved refunds will be processed within 10–20 business days.

6. User Responsibilities and Conduct

All users (teachers, students, parents) agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful, educational purposes

• Treat one another with respect and professionalism

• Avoid harassment, threats, offensive language, or discrimination

• Not copy, sell, or misuse any study material or recorded sessions

• Maintain honesty in profile details and feedback/reviews

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently block users found in violation of these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our platform—including but not limited to text, videos, PDFs, logos, branding, and test materials—is the exclusive property of The Knowledge Hub or its respective content providers.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any part of our content without prior written permission.

• Teachers may retain rights over original materials they upload, but grant us limited rights to host and share it within our platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Knowledge Hub acts as a platform provider and is not directly responsible for disputes between tutors and students, though we will assist in mediating issues in good faith.

We are not liable for:

• Student academic performance or exam results

• Acts or conduct of independently operating tutors

• Technical glitches or third-party service interruptions

Use of our platform is at your own risk. You agree to indemnify us against any legal claims arising from your conduct or breach of these terms.

9. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal information. By using our services, you agree to the terms in our Privacy Policy, including:

• Collection of limited personal data (e.g., name, phone, location) for user verification and service matching

• No sale or disclosure of data to third parties without consent

• Secure handling of information in compliance with Indian data protection laws

10. Modifications to Services and Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue any service, feature, or section of these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising under these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
