The Kind Starter is an urban farm stand and bakery based in Cincinnati, specializing in handmade sourdough products. Our mission is to provide high-quality, delicious baked goods while promoting a message of kindness and the courage to begin new things.  We aim to build a strong community connection by offering products that are not only nourishing but also inspiring.  Our self-serve stand will be open to the public each Saturday & Sunday at 10am. Come on by and start something good by adding us to your weekly routine!

How to Shop with The Kind Starter

We operate a little differently than a traditional storefront! Since we are a home-based business, here are the two ways you can get your goods:

• ​Daily Pre-Orders: You can order online any day of the week! Please place your order at least 24 hours in advance, and we will have it ready for you to pick up from the cabinet on our porch.

• ​Porch Popups (Walk-ups): On select days, we fully stock our porch stand for walk-up shopping without a pre-order. Check our social media pages to see when our next popup is happening!

​Pickup Location: 6321 Roe Street, Cincinnati, OH 45227. Just look for the cabinet on the front porch!
