A big thank you to everyone who joined our latest webinar, "From Ideas to Opportunities!"

Ayona Jaswal loved being a guest speaker for Moroccan high schoolers and having the opportunity to share her personal experiences, journey, and the lessons learned while building a global initiative. It was an incredible experience connecting with such passionate students and discussing how to turn a local gap into a structured community mission.

A huge thank you to the Youth Opportunities team for the great hosting and for facilitating such an engaging session. Participants explored practical steps for resource mapping and goal setting, gaining a roadmap for how leading their own initiatives can develop essential skills for the future.

April 5th, 2026 - Health, Climate, and the Future of Humanity: How Science and Young Innovators Can Solve the World’s Biggest Challenges

Participants explored how climate change is actively reshaping global health and how emerging fields like biotechnology and artificial intelligence are fundamentally transforming the landscape of modern medicine. We also discussed the vital role that young researchers and students play in tackling some of the most urgent challenges facing humanity today, offering a roadmap for how the next generation can contribute to real-world solutions.

Our webinar "Advocacy for Your Health: Practical Strategies for Patients and Caregivers" was a great success!

Participants learned how to take an active role in their healthcare journey, from mastering the art of clear communication to navigating the complexities of the medical system. With our 10+ attendees we discussed practical tools for self-advocacy, how to effectively manage care as a caregiver, and strategies to ensure your voice, or the voice of a loved one, is heard

and respected by medical teams.

Thank you to everyone who joined our free webinar on the "Importance of Words in Medicine!"

Participants learned how effective communication can make a real difference in healthcare, from preparing for appointments and knowing what questions to ask, to understanding medical terminology and confidently speaking with healthcare professionals. We also discussed how to ask questions clearly, advocate for yourself, and better navigate medical conversations.
