Here Is A Little About Me (The Founder!)

Hello there!

Thank you so much for visiting my website, I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Ayona Jaswal, and I’m a high school student who created The Kindness and Smile Zone at the age of 14 to give children, especially those in hospitals or clinics, a chance to be creative, smile, and have a little fun, even during the hardest times.

I’ve spent a lot of time in hospitals myself since I was a baby, so I understand how tough and boring it can be to be stuck in bed with nothing to do. That’s why I wanted to make something special just for kids, something fun and uplifting that also helps them learn and explore new things along the way.

Keep believing in yourself and don’t forget to have some fun along the way.

Meet The Team

Our team consists of 25+ present and past high school and university volunteers from Canada, the United States, India, Philippines, UAE, Saudi Arabia and more. Ayona has started working with volunteers from around the world to help grow her organization and make a larger impact globally.

Sifa Siraj

Sifa is a 12th grader from the United States. She enjoys spending time with her friends.

Arpitha is a first year university student in the US studying to be an emergency emdicine doctor. She can speak four languages!

Shiwali is a 9th grader from the U.S who has been dancing since the age of 8. Shiwali currently does taekwondo too!

Latisha is a 12th grader from the U.S. Latisha's originally from Kenya and is fluent in Swahili!

Navya is a 9th grader from the United States. She hopes to study biology and/or medicine. She loves to listen to music all day long and have fun with her family and friends!

Harshini

Harshini is a high school senior from the U.S. She loves volunteering, especially anything that involves children. She is passionate about becoming a happier, healthier, healed person everyday. As a result, she enjoys supporting people in anyway that she can.

Ariella Sansita

Ariella likes expressing creativity in quiet, meaningful ways. She loves reading, writing, painting and playing the violin. She's introverted and adores calm spaces.

Mahek

A junior in high school who loves helping the community and animals. She plans on pursuing a career in medicine.

Gab

Gab is a Grade 12 STEM student from the Philippines. She plans to pursue a degree of Biomedical Engineering and take up law after college.

Dami

Dami is a 10th grader from the United States. She loves frogs & lizards, and is planning on fostering/adopting.

Payton

Payton is a high school junior working towards her Associate of Arts degree in College. She plans to pursue a nursing career. Beyond academics, she leads Key Club service projects, serves as a Dr. Interested Human Resources Coordinator, and acts as an Adventist youth leader in her church’s Hospital Ministry.

Miracle

Hello! I am currently a 2nd year college student from United States. My major is elementary education and one day I hope to achieve my dream of becoming a teacher. My favorite subjects are math, writing, and social studies. I love to be a part of something that involves children because it's all about how we can improve our future to make our next generation's lives better! I also love reading rom-con. My favorite book right now is Daybreak vol 1.
