Parent Handbook
“We provide a developmentally appropriate environment for every child with hands-on experiences which advance children with their social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development by catering to each child's individual needs and interest. As educators, there are many roles that need to be filled to provide a higher quality learning for each child. Our goal and objective is to motivate and create a strong self-image within each of our students.”

Vision
To provide a safe environment where children can be themselves and feel accepted, supported, and encouraged with their learning and developmental journey. To provide formative educational experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. The early childhood educators will implement research-based curriculums and child-centered approaches for every age group and stage of development.
Leadership Philosophy

Your children will participate in activities that requires to be outdoors, when possible to keep your children active and motived throughout the school year. Due to unfortunate weather conditions such as rain, snow, etc. your children will be offered screen time in the classroom exceeding no more than 20 minutes per day. Screen time will be educationally appropriate continuing to support the development and growth of your children.
Discipline Policy
First and foremost, Physical discipline will never be used by any staff member EVER!! We also apply this guideline to the premise as a whole and do not condone or allow physical discipline to occur on our premises. To ensure the safety of all children attending our center, we have enforced guidelines in place for the children to follow. If a staff member expresses any disapproval (without attaching character) with one’s actions, that educator will state their expectations and show the children how to make amends. At our center, we give choices and allow children to grow and learn from these situations, however, in extreme situations, a child may be redirected.
Communication
Communication is key when building and maintaining a relationship. We appreciate parents that keeps the communication flowing and encourage this. We know your child’s education is important to you and we are here to support them in their educational and developmental journey. Your involvement is vital during this journey, and this is why we encourage parents to communicate whenever they like. Don’t wait for us to reach out to you, if you have any concerns or question, we will be glad to assist as your input is important to us and more importantly your child’s success in our center.
Late pick up or drop off
Like we mentioned above communication is key, so please inform us if you are running late to either pick up or drop off your child. It is important to us for you to know our schedule (breakfast, first activity, etc.) as we do not want your children to miss any activity. Calling ahead also allow our educators to prepare for the arrival of your child, as they can prepare to easily get your child on task with the current activity without breaking the classroom’s focus.
I am sure we can all agree that personal time is precious. It becomes extremely difficult and stressful to have scheduled plans delayed due to a late pick up. Our educators have their own personal lives to attend to after school hours and we appreciate if you or another guardian can pick up your child on time. We will work with you if you have an issue picking your child up on time. We will allow a 10 to 20 minute grace period only with a phone call beforehand, if you do not call before school is over to inform us of your late pick up, we will charge an additional $10 late fee for every 10 minutes that past after our pick time.
