Piscinvisibilidae is a small taxonomic family of Kerbin fish. Commonly referred to as Stealthfish, or Ghost Kerbfish, these organisms are known to be incredibly hard to spot, as they are often good at hiding. The family contains 2 extant genera. One is known as Piscinvisibilis, also spelt Psinvisibilis, is a 40 cm long organism which is often seen swimming in the seabed, where it predominantly eats Kalgae and other aquatic plants. When threatened, it flees and then buries itself in sand, with it's eyes poking out, so as to mimic the appearance of sand lumps. The only species within this genus is P arena. The other is known as Psiabyssus, which is split into two species, P striata and P maculosus. P striata often live in deeper waters, and are nocturnal, living near sets of regions in the great Kerbin ocean known as the Slimy rim, and going to the shallows to carry out its activities. P maculosus, the more mysterious species of the two, inhabits the Slimy Rim for 99.9% of its lifecycle, and is virtually blind. Both genera are preyed upon by an assortment of predators, such as Tiburonians (shark like creatures), Acanthocerebrans, other Fish and even occasional piscivorous terrestrial animals. One of those predators is the aforementioned K monostomonychus, which as previously mentioned, is the most carnivorous of its genus. Its eyes are somewhat weak, which means that P arena is almost unnoticeable to it. It does occur that a witty enough Kerbolisk is able to catch and eat a Stealthfish.
