Context- Romeo and Juliet is William Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy following two young people from feuding families who fall deeply in love despite the conflict surrounding them. As Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet struggle to build a life together, their secret relationship becomes entangled in family loyalties, impulsive choices, and a cycle of violence. Through beautiful language and unforgettable characters, the play explores love, conflict, fate, and the consequences of division.
Time & Place- Verona, Italy, during the Renaissance. The story unfolds throughout the city, from the streets and public squares to the homes of the Montague and Capulet families.

Spring Musical- Into the Woods
Context- Into the Woods is a modern musical fairytale that weaves together the stories of beloved characters from classic Grimm fairy tales, including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel. When a Baker and his Wife venture into the woods to break a curse and start a family, their journey brings them face-to-face with familiar characters, unexpected consequences, and wishes that are not quite what they seem. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, the show explores the power of wishes, the consequences of our choices, and what it truly means to live “happily ever after.”
Time & Place- A fantastical storybook world inspired by classic European fairy tales, with much of the action taking place in and around a mysterious forest.
