All 38 Football Clubs in County Meath received a visit during July as the FAI met for their AGM. It was fantastic to see both Balrath FC and Bohermeen Celtic FC create and open new football pitches.

Navan Councillors unanimously rejected the proposed playground site outside the School Campus in Johnstown Wood at their Meeting on 15th July.

Mark and Peter handed over the reins at the end of July having led the O'Briens Fat Boys & Ladybirds group for over 3½ years.

With several outlets serving takeout coffee were helping to promote the campaign to encourage consumers to switch to reusable takeaway cups.

Feel Fit Gyms opened their new Easy B&C Cafe for an early preview on Saturday Aug 10th.

The recent heavy rains don't water flower baskets well and news of the Tidy Towns new portable rainwater buggy has traveled across Ireland.

Simple and effective it means they can reach places without a nearby tap, without using cars and more importantly use harvested rainwater.

Wildflowers are growing slowly at the former Petrol Station verge but some need frost and won't appear until next year.

The soil is of dreadful quality but that's what wildflowers prefer since it gives them a fighting chance to outshine the weeds and grass.

The fence line climbers have also flowered.

More work is planned for autumn to provide flowers in Spring.
