Do you take your children to visit Santa before Christmas? Do you go further than the local Shopping Centre to become immersed in the Magic of Christmas?
Over the past decade the options to engage your children with Santa has transformed the build up to Christmas. No longer content with a simple visit to the local stores many now take the family to a Santa Experience where venues go to great efforts though decorations, costumes, storytelling and presentation to create a convincing and a magical experience for younger children.

No longer content with a simple visit to the local stores many now take the family to a Santa Experience where venues go to great efforts though decorations, costumes, storytelling and presentation to create a convincing and a magical experience for younger children.
This article will come far too late for those parents who've not already booked an experience since venues are advertised as early as September with peak time slots selling out within days. A family of 4 should expect to pay around €10 to €15 each person for the hour or more experience, it should also include the children's present too!

Locally there are only a few venues within easy reach so you can't exactly visit somewhere new each year and therefore you will end up returning more than once.

We know and have experienced only 2 Established Venues within driving distance and both are likely to be fully booked. There use to be many more but either they don't advertise or no longer operate.

The Causey Christmas Experience is tried tested, convincingly presented and a well rehearsed production.
The Causey Christmas Experience is tried tested, convincingly presented and a well rehearsed production.
It runs from late November to December 23rd and the farm is transformed via a series of locations that you walk between such as Santa’s Toy Workshop, Post Office, Grandma's Kitchen and even Santa's Bedroom. The venue's attention to detail makes this one of the best experiences available.

1st to the 23rd December Santa's magical grotto is very well presented via a series of displays along an indoor corridor. It is very polished, immaculately presented with a slightly 'comercial' feel especially when compared to the 'homely' rustic feel of Causey Farm.
